Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food handling stations.
- Assist with food safety management by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Support food industry standards by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a tidy environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a restaurant or café environment is advantageous.
