Seeking friendly and supportive Swim Instructors to teach students ages 4-12 about water safety and swimming techniques utilizing our approved curriculum. Ideal candidates will have a genuine love for working with children and have a positive attitude!
Responsibilities
- Lead youth swim classes for students (ages 6 months–12 years).
- Use progressive, flexible teaching techniques tailored to different comfort levels.
- Keep classes structured, safe, and engaging for all participants.
- Celebrate every victory, big or small, and help students reach personal swim goals.
- Communicate clearly and positively with participants of all backgrounds and ages.
- Communicate with parents and caregivers to support learning and confidence.
- Create a warm, welcoming environment for families.
What We're Looking For:
- Empathy, patience, and a strong belief in lifelong learning.
- Swim instruction or coaching experience (preferred, but we’ll train the right fit).
- Ability to motivate and connect with nervous or hesitant swimmers.
- Strong communication and water safety skills.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).
