Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist with general dentistry services including preparing patients for treatments, chairside dentistry, taking radiographs, assisting during surgical procedures, create temporary crowns, taking dental impressions, checking patients for proper insurance benefits, taking medical and dental histories, taking photos for history of patients, iTero diagnostic scans, etc
- Prepare patients for treatment by assisting the dentist and hygienist; including but not limited to preparing the operatory, take radiographs, take IO photos, tray set up, take patient's blood pressure, pulse and other measurements; answer patient's questions about medications or procedures; prepare treatment rooms for treatment by cleaning and stocking instruments and supplies
- Develop and maintain patient charts
- Work in Sterilization, Properly sterilize dental instruments, dispose of waste materials, sterilize operatories, set up operatories for patients. Maintain all OSHA and HIPPA standards.
- Other duties as assigned

We are a growing dental practice in Lubbock, TX looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our team.
