San Antonio Counseling and Behavioral Center is seeking a Business Development Liaison to expand our referral network throughout San Antonio & Greater San Antonio Area.
This role focuses on building and maintaining strong partnerships with physicians, healthcare providers, and community organizations to increase referrals to our teletherapy and psychological evaluation services.
The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder with experience in healthcare outreach, physician relations, or medical business development who enjoys representing a mission-driven behavioral health organization in the community.

Position Summary
The Business development Liaison will support outreach efforts as part of a collaborative team, working closely with leadership and clinical staff to expand referral relationships efforts throughout Greater San Antonio, developing and maintaining referral relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and community partners. This role focuses on building a strong referral pipeline by educating providers about our services and creating long-term partnerships that improve access to behavioral health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with primary care physicians, pediatricians, psychiatrists, OB/GYNs, neurologists, hospitals, urgent care centers, school counselors, case managers, and community organizations.
- Conduct regular in-person outreach visits to physician offices and referral partners throughout the Greater San Antonio area.
- Educate referral partners about our outpatient counseling, teletherapy, psychological evaluations, and specialty programs.
- Identify and cultivate new referral opportunities within healthcare and community networks.
- Maintain strong ongoing relationships with existing referral partners through regular follow-up and engagement.
- Track outreach activity, referral trends, and partnership development using CRM software.
- Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, networking events, and professional meetings.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support outreach campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on referral activity, partnership growth, and community engagement.
- Capture photos and short videos during provider visits, community events, and outreach activities to support social media and marketing efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare outreach, physician relations, business development, or community liaison roles
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable conducting in-person outreach and networking within the healthcare community
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with healthcare referral networks
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Previous experience in behavioral health, hospitals, medical practices, or healthcare sales
