Job Summary
Brewster Marble is a premier stone fabrication and installation shop based in Chatsworth, CA, servicing a 50-mile radius across the San Fernando Valley, Ventura County, and the greater LA area. We operate a dedicated, high-volume production facility with no public showroom, packed with state-of-the-art technology.Our facility features advanced 5-axis machinery capable of handling projects of any scale, specialized split slab technology, and the only machine on the West Coast processing thin slab materials with structural honeycomb backing. This elite machinery allows us to engineer lightweight, ultra-durable stone applications that standard shops cannot touch.
We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to leverage these unique technological capabilities and procure new business from local custom builders, high-end interior designers, luxury architects, and cabinet shops.
You will focus entirely on sales and relationship building. Our internal team handles all estimating, blueprints, and on-site measurements.
This position offers highly flexible hours and is open to either Full-Time or Part-Time candidates. While you will spend your time out in the field hunting for new work, you must be able to come into our Chatsworth shop once a week for a strategy meeting with ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Capabilities Pitching: Educate high-end architects, designers, and commercial contractors on our exclusive technological advantages (5-axis capabilities, split slab, and West Coast-exclusive thin-slab honeycomb backing).
- New Business Procurement: Prospect, cold-call, and visit local trade businesses, active jobsites, and design studios within our 50-mile radius to win new fabrication and installation accounts.
- Daily Activity Tracking: Maintain strict accountability by submitting detailed daily sheets logging every geographic area visited and company engaged.
- Weekly Strategy Meetings: Attend a mandatory weekly in-person meeting at our Chatsworth facility to review leads, track progress with ownership, and align with production.
- Lead Hand-off: Gather initial project details from prospective clients and hand them off to our internal estimating team for quoting.
Required Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: 2+ years of experience working within or selling for a stone fabrication, tile, cabinetry, or residential remodeling business. You must understand fabrication processes.
- Proven Hunting Background: Demonstrated success in outside sales, cold outreach, and field prospecting.
- High Accountability: Disciplined self-starter comfortable managing their own schedule while maintaining rigorous daily log sheets.
- Location & Mobility: Must live within commuting distance of Chatsworth to attend weekly meetings. Valid California Driver's License and a reliable vehicle for daily field travel are required.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
