Our client, a party and event rental company, is looking for a Set Up Lead to join their team in Ventura, CA. In this role, you will oversee dance floor maintenance and repairs, manage warehouse inventory, and support event delivery and installations while leading and training team members to maintain the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, inspect, repair, and maintain dance floor inventory including replacing hardware, servicing locks and connectors, and repairing panels and edging
- Perform custom dance floor wrapping and finishing for client events
- Conduct preventative maintenance and schedule repairs in the software management system
- Report damages, repair needs, and replacement recommendations to management promptly
- Ensure all inventory is complete, clean, and event-ready prior to loading
- Inspect returned event inventory for damages, missing items, and maintenance requirements
- Assist with loading, unloading, and on-site installations and breakdowns as needed
- Coordinate preparation timelines with management for upcoming deliveries and events
- Train team members on proper dance floor handling, maintenance, and preparation
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; English proficiency required
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, climb ladders, bend, and stand for extended periods
Pay & Schedule:
- Pay Rate: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Overtime as needed
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
