American Traveler is hiring an experienced RNFA for an OR First Assist position requiring endoscopic vein harvesting proficiency and a valid LA or Compact RN license.

Hospital operating room setting in the RNFA unit
-
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
-
On-call required approximately every third day, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Weekend call required approximately every third week: Friday on-call from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM; Saturday and Sunday on-call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

Every other weekend work required (subject to change to every third or fourth weekend)

13-week contract

Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

First assist certification required: ABSA, NBSTSA, or NCCT
-
CVOR RNFA or CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant background required

Minimum 1 year of RNFA experience required

Endoscopic vein harvesting experience is a hard requirement

Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment

Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel with this health system
