We are looking for an experienced, dependable Residential Pool & Spa Electrician to join our team. This is a hands-on, outdoor position working primarily on residential properties and pool environments.
The ideal candidate has strong electrical experience and understands the unique electrical needs of swimming pools, spas, outdoor equipment, and residential systems. You should be comfortable troubleshooting problems, installing and repairing equipment, and working independently in an outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems for residential pools and spas
- Work with pool pumps, motors, controls, timers, lighting, automation, and related equipment
- Install and service pool and spa heaters
- Install and troubleshoot misters and outdoor cooling systems
- Work on electrical panels, breakers, circuits, disconnects, and wiring
- Diagnose electrical issues and determine the appropriate repair
- Perform residential electrical repairs and installations as needed
- Work with outdoor lighting and other exterior electrical equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to applicable electrical codes
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work outdoors in hot, cold, and varying weather conditions
What We're Looking For
- Electrical experience; residential experience preferred
- Pool and spa electrical experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of pool equipment, pumps, heaters, controls, and automation
- Comfortable troubleshooting electrical problems
- Experience with electrical panels, breakers, wiring, and disconnects
- Comfortable working outdoors and around swimming pools and spas
- Able to work independently and manage daily service calls
- Reliable, professional, and safety-minded
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift equipment and perform physical work as required
A Great Fit for This Position
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, knows their way around residential electrical systems, and has experience with the equipment that keeps pools and outdoor living spaces running.
Pool/spa electrical experience is a major plus, but we're also interested in a strong residential electrician who is willing and able to learn the pool and spa side of the business.
