Concrete Finisher / Concrete Cutting Technician Trainee

A long time well established local concstruction company is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual with concrete finishing experience who is interested in learning the specialized trade of concrete cutting.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already understands concrete work and wants to expand their skills into concrete sawing, core drilling, wall sawing, hand sawing, and other specialty concrete cutting services.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with concrete cutting, core drilling, and related specialty work
- Operate or learn to operate concrete saws, drills, and other equipment
- Perform concrete finishing, patching, and cleanup as needed
- Load, unload, and maintain tools and equipment
- Work safely on commercial, industrial, and construction job sites
- Learn from experienced concrete cutting technicians
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
What We’re Looking For
- Previous concrete finishing experience is required
- Strong interest in learning the concrete cutting trade
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors
- Willingness to work occasional early mornings, nights, weekends, or overtime when projects require it
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
- Commitment to safety, quality, and dependable attendance
Concrete cutting experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a solid concrete background, a good work ethic, and a desire to learn.
