Our Eden Prairie Location Features:
- Licensed capacity for 88 children
- Programs serving Infant through Pre-K
- A dedicated team of 15 staff members
Position Overview
As Assistant Center Director, you will provide leadership, vision, and operational excellence to ensure the success of our school. This role is ideal for a motivated, organized, and solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a leadership environment and looking for growth.
You will play a key role in training and retaining your team, and establishing a positive, high-quality culture from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily school operations including staffing, enrollment, and facility management
- Ensure full compliance with Minnesota state licensing and regulatory standards
- Assist in hiring, training, development, and retention of staff
- Maintain high standards of educational quality and care
- Build strong relationships with families and the local community
- Serve as a role model through professionalism, integrity, and servant leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field (CDA considered)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Director or 3 years as lead teacher in a licensed childcare setting
- Solid understanding of licensing, staffing, enrollment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and retain a team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth
- Reliable, ethical, and values-driven leadership style
- Strong professional references
