Summary
We are seeking openings on all shifts for CNC Operators for a manufacturer in Johnson Creek. This role is a strong fit for candidates who are mechanically inclined, detail-focused, and interested in building machining and precision manufacturing skills. Previous CNC experience is not required, making this a great entry point for individuals starting a manufacturing career, while experienced CNC Machinists are also encouraged to apply. Candidates of all skill levels are welcome!
Pay: Ranges from $18.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours:
- 1st Shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- 2nd Shift is Monday through Friday, 2:15 p.m.–10:45 p.m.
- 3rd Shift is Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m.–6:15 a.m.
Overtime is available but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mills and lathes, defined as automated machines that produce precision parts from raw materials
- Manufacture parts according to specifications, blueprints, and production requirements, Inspect finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers, defined as tools used to verify precise dimensions
- Document production information including job times, material usage, and production concern, perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication, Report equipment issues to maintenance personnel as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality, Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or vocational training in machining or a related field preferred but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to lift to fifty pounds occasionally and twenty-five pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday
