We are seeking a reliable and highly motivated Mover to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with loading and unloading items. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. This position requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while providing exceptional service to our clients. You must be professional and clean cut. Your skill level will determine your pay.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Pad and wrap all furniture in a timely manner.
- Lead and communicate effectively with your team.
- Be respectful to ALL clients and coworkers
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or mover is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas effectively.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of using a pallet jack and other moving equipment is advantageous.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass any required background checks or screenings.
