Job description:
Our diverse Private Practice is seeking highly motivated Licensed Psychotherapists (LMSW, LMHC) to join our dedicated team. They will provide comprehensive fee for service therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This role is a fee for service position and involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing counseling and support, and collaborating with clients to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions
- Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT and motivational interviewing
- Provide crisis intervention and support during difficult situations
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
- Maintain timely, accurate and confidential documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Must have: Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Active New York state licensure (LMSW, LMHC)
- Experience working in a client-facing role preferred
- Ability to conduct therapy sessions independently
