Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders efficiently and providing friendly, personalized service to enhance their visit
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas by following food safety and sanitation protocols
- Handle food preparation tasks such as food handling, basic food prep, and beverage assembly with precision and care
- Manage retail sales transactions confidently while balancing cash registers at shift end using retail math skills
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring all products are stored properly according to food safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work efficiently in a team environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus throughout shifts

Pay: $23.35 - $28.12 per hour
