Position: Community Support Worker // Direct Support Professional
Locations: Bedford, MA
Salary: $20.60/Hour until fully trained, $21.63/Hour fully trained. We will train!
Scheduled Hours: M-F 8am-4pm

Who we are looking for:
Seeking qualified Direct Support Professionals to work full-time directly with adults with intellectual disabilities in our Day Program in Bedford, MA.
The Job Responsibilities:

Assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living such as feeding, dressing, toileting and other aspects of personal care, and nutritional needs

Providing individuals with supports to ensure access to community activities

Assisting with maintenance of environment

Participating in the development, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of Individual Service Plan or Day Habilitation Plan goals which focus on building skills and increasing independence

Providing therapeutic support and assisting in the implementation of Behavior Support Plans, if appropriate

Transporting individuals

Medication Administration
Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive

Ability to pass a driving and background check

COVID-19 Vaccine Card

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Ability to complete training both online and in person
Preferred:
-
Previous human services or long-term care experience strongly preferred

CNA/HHA/Community Support Worker experience preferred

Associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
