Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and warehouse supervision, with a focus on process improvement and continuous operational excellence. This role requires leadership in managing inventory, transportation, procurement, and team supervision to support the company's growth and operational goals. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize warehouse operations.
- Manage supply chain functions including procurement, demand planning, production planning, and logistics coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Control budgets related to warehouse operations and oversee procurement processes including purchasing of materials and equipment.
- Supervise warehouse staff including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of teamwork.
- Oversee materials management, inventory control, shipping & receiving processes, and warehouse distribution activities.
- Implement process improvements related to transportation planning, demand forecasting, production planning, and supply chain analytics.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Strong background in inventory management. EXPERINCE USING SNAP TRACKER IS A PLUS
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies or continuous improvement frameworks.
- Experience managing transportation planning, fleet management, demand planning, production planning, and logistics coordination.
- Supervisory experience overseeing teams in fast-paced warehouse settings with a focus on safety compliance.
- Familiarity with forklift operation certification is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
