Responsibilities
- Weekends Are a Must, Open Availability is preferred.
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables effectively
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage presentation techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales efficiently
- Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is advantageous
- Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
