About the Role
As a Field Service Diesel Technician, you will serve as a critical mobile resource for clients requiring immediate mechanical support. You will leverage your expertise in heavy-duty diagnostics and repair to ensure fleet uptime, operating independently to resolve complex equipment failures in the field.
Responsibilities-
Execute high-quality repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment at various client locations.

Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engine systems, hydraulic components, and advanced electrical circuits to restore operational efficiency.

Ensure the reliability of brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems through proactive maintenance and precision troubleshooting.

Maintain optimal service truck readiness, including inventory management of essential parts and specialized power tools.

Document all service activities and repair findings accurately to provide transparent communication with management and clients.

Uphold rigorous safety standards and DOT compliance protocols during every field intervention.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty diesel or equipment maintenance.

Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting vehicle electronics, computer controls, and fuel systems.

Ability to work autonomously in diverse outdoor environments and manage time effectively.

Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Current ASE certifications in medium/heavy truck repair.

Prior experience operating and maintaining various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and boom trucks.

Advanced knowledge of alternative fuel systems and modern engine performance diagnostics.
