American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and Siemens scanner experience.

Level I Trauma academic medical center setting within a large hospital system in Boston, MA
-
CT department with rotation among radiology clinics and divisions associated with the facility as needed
-
Performs diagnostic CT imaging including contrast administration via venipuncture under radiologist direction
-
Operates Siemens CT scanners along with power injectors, laser printers, and patient monitoring devices
-
Charting via Epic EMR
-
11:00 AM – 11:30 PM shift, 36 hours per week

Weekend availability required

Non-rotating shift
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least 1 year in CT
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
-
Active MA Radiologic and CT Technologist license required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted

ARRT registration in CT required

BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)

Siemens CT scanner experience required

Level I Trauma experience required

Acquire and process diagnostic CT images per departmental protocols, ensuring proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and shielding

Execute Radiology Information System functions including scheduling, exam completion, and image transfer to PACS

Calibrate and verify equipment operation daily and report malfunctions as needed
-
May oversee and instruct radiology students and support personnel within the department

Participates in quality assurance, quality improvement, and research programs as applicable

Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted

Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
