Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Clinic RN - is responsible for providing clinical, administrative, and facility support to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. This position supports providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care, clinic maintenance, and communication with other Ideal Option departments. The Clinic RN will provide clinical and non-clinical support as needed and directed by the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative tasks to support efficient clinic flow for in-person and virtual patients

Obtain and maintain required patient documentation, consents, and releases
-
Collect patient copays and other payments as required by insurance plans and clinic policies
-
Maintain accountability for in-clinic funds, including secure handling of payments and completion of bank deposits

Facilitate a positive patient experience through professional communication and customer service

Provide clinical support within the Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) scope of practice and in accordance with provider orders, clinic policies, and applicable regulations, including:

Phlebotomy
-
Urine collection (in special circumstances as direct by provider)
-
Accurate collection and recording of vital signs
-
Medication reconciliation
-
Observed dosing
-
Administer subcutaneous (SubQ) and intramuscular (IM) injections in accordance with provider orders and established clinical protocols
-
Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatment plans under the direction of the provider
-
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and treatment goals

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning

Responsible for ensuring adequate stock of supplies, completing inventory, and orders as needed

Complies with national PHI laws including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2

Maintains punctual and reliable attendance in compliance with the Ideal Option policy

Works cooperatively to ensure the success of their team by providing support and training as appropriate

Maintain consistent and regular communication with team members across multiple platforms

Dynamic responsibilities, including potential needs for:

Other projects as needed
Requirements:
Qualifications:
-
Active Unencumbered RN License in WA
-
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic or hospital setting.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)Medical terminology

Experienced with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite

Effective written and verbal communication

Previous knowledge of de-escalation techniques preferred, but not required

Ability to adapt to unique patient needs and communication styles

A knowledge of or propensity to learn about chemical dependency and its effects on individuals, families, and communities

Ability to work independently or team setting

Ability to work with underserved, vulnerable populations

Strong commitment to actively supporting an ethical open working environment
Preferred Experience:

Experience with drawing blood.
Work Environment:

General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels

Virtual support from the Regional Director/Nurse Care Team Lead - daily, periodic onsite clinic visits

Routine All-Employee virtual meetings for organizational updates
