Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and support within our chiropractic practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient service skills. This role is mostly physical and patient‑facing. Applicants should be comfortable assisting with therapies, moving between treatment rooms, and supporting the doctor. We’re a small team, and we depend on each other. Please be someone who shows up consistently and on time.
Responsibilities
- Assist chiropractors during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Provide excellent patient service by greeting patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Conduct patient assessments to gather relevant medical history and information before treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness practices as directed by the chiropractor.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the chiropractic team.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
**Because we operate with a small staff, we need team members who can be counted on to show up reliably.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with medical terminology will enhance communication within the practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service.
- Ability to perform basic patient assessments effectively.
