Job Overview
We are seeking self motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. Job operations include shoveling, running snow blower and salt spreaders during winter weather conditions. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Clear snow from sidewalks and other designated areas using shovels and snow removal equipment.
- Maintain safe pathways by applying salt as necessary to prevent ice buildup.
- Assist with snow plowing operations when required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use.
Requirements
- MUST have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and able to pass DOT physical.
- Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds, bend, lift, stand for extended periods, and have appropriate attire to work in cold elements.
- Previous experience in snow removal or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Any construction/carpentry skills would be helpful as well, also not required.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in operating snow removal equipment.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner.
