Purpose:
The Machine Operator is responsible for day-to-day execution of sheet metal fabrication to ensure timely completion of jobs, parts built to customer specification, and a safe workplace.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the production process including, but not limited to the following:
-
S4/P4 Trumpf, Press Brake, Stamping, Welding & Forming (stainless steel)

Able to collaborate with co-workers to help team achieve high level of productivity

Produces high-quality output by identifying defects, and adhering to quality standards
-
Keeps track of production output, identifying potential problems, and reporting them to supervisors

Ensuring efficient machine performance, addressing any issues, and performing routine maintenance.

Following Safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Collaborating with other operators and team members to ensure efficient production
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
This role involves physical activity, such as bending, lifting, standing for most of the workday, and walking.
- Ability to effectively navigate and use computer systems

Check parts with precision٫ using appropriate measuring and inspection tools such as calipers, rulers, and computer aided measuring equipment

Ability to lift 15 lbs. consistently

Communication proficiency, able to speak, read, and understand English

Strong Detail oriented, reliable and the ability to work independently and is a good team player
Requirements:

High School diploma, GED or equivalent

Additional technical degree a plus

1-year working experience in warehouse, inspection, manufacturing, production, or a similar area

Mechanical aptitude a plus
