Duties
- Prepare sandwiches, pancakes, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain food presentation and consistency.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked.
- Work efficiently during busy meal periods.
- Assist with food prep and kitchen duties as assigned.
- Support team members to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, ensuring each is made to order with fresh ingredients and proper presentation
- Cook and assemble pancakes, applying techniques such as cake decorating for special menu items or themed presentations
- Handle food production tasks including portioning, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Assist with food preparation activities such as slicing, chopping, and ingredient assembly to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain strict food safety and handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, managing supplies, and cleaning workstations regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and engaging positively with guestsExperience
- Previous experience in food preparation, baking, or pastry work is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and food presentation enhances your ability to create visually appealing dishes
- Hands-on kitchen experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling practices is essential
- Strong knife skills, cooking techniques, and baking experience contribute to efficiency and quality in meal preparation
