Job Overview
Legacy Bagel Store and Deli is seeking a Store Manager to oversee and manage daily store operations, food preparation standards, and equipment maintenance. Must have flexibility to work mornings, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
- Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation
- Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Coordinate scheduling, shift management, and ensure proper staffing levels for smooth store functioning
- Hire, train, schedule, and coach employees to ensure excellent customer service and efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations and maintain cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of bagel and deli experience required.
- Leadership: Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and digital ordering platforms.
- Certification: Food Safety Certification is highly preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods and pay strong attention to detail regarding food quality and display case presentation.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
