About the position:
As the Houseperson, you will assist housekeepers with room preparation, handle the delivery and removal of items, and contribute to the overall owner and guest experience by keeping the property clean, safe, and welcoming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stock housekeeper totes/carts with the appropriate supplies and deliver them to housekeeping staff as directed by management
- Deliver clean linens and supplies to housekeeping staff as needed
- Collect and dispose of garbage and dirty linens from units
- Responsible for cleaning and light maintenance of unit exterior spaces and amenities such as patios, patio furniture, and BBQ
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Provides backup for housekeeping staff as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift, push/pull a moderate amount of weight
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with owners and staff members
- Ability to interact with co-workers and guests via verbal and written communication
- Able to handle stress in a fast-paced work environment
- Valid Driver’s License*
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus
