Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating tractor-trailers to transport freight efficiently and securely across designated routes. Your expertise in various types of trucks, including flatbed or stepdeck w ramps, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across local, regional, or long-haul routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Drive specialized trailers including flatbeds or stepdecks w/ramps based on delivery requirements
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while complying with hours-of-service regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments as needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks
- Experience driving various types of freight vehicles including flatbed or stepdeck w/ramps
- Prior delivery driver experience with a focus on load & unload procedures and route driving efficiency
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts safely when loading or unloading cargo
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and freight handling
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads when necessary and perform routine vehicle inspection .

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,700.00 per week
