American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a part-time OB/Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring NRP, BLS, and STABLE certifications, with cross-training to Med Surg/EICU when needed.

Part-time night shift schedule: 7pm–7:30am, 4 (12-hour) shifts per pay period

Every other weekend required
-
OB unit serving maternal and newborn patients
-
Cross-training to Med Surg/EICU required when census demands
-
13-week contract
-
Active WI RN license (or compact license with WI privilege) currently in hand
-
Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, NRP, and STABLE
-
Minimum two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred
-
OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
-
Proficiency with fetal heart monitoring, labor induction, cervical ripening, and obstetric emergencies
-
Neonatal resuscitation competency required
-
Intermediate computer proficiency required
-
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
-
Responsibilities include assessing labor progression, managing inductions, identifying and responding to obstetric emergencies (e.g., prolapsed cord, postpartum hemorrhage, uterine rupture, placenta previa)

Newborn care responsibilities include neonatal resuscitation, monitoring for hypoglycemia, hypothermia, jaundice, and managing neonatal sepsis

Manages pregnancy-related conditions including hypertension and gestational diabetes

ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications will be required within the first year
