AKAT Corp is seeking a highly motivated Electronics Engineer to support the NASA/GSFC programs. Specific requirements include:
- Performing engineering studies, design, and analyses in support of flight instruments from concept thru development, and I&T phase.
- Supporting the design and development of analog and digital electronic circuits in the areas of IR detector readout and data processing.
- Supporting generation of design schematics, circuit simulation, FPGA design, and PCB design.
- Support PC board fabrication, assembly, and test.
- Work with multidiscipline group of engineers during the systems design and development, integration, testing, and delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with some NASA related experience.
- Background in the development of aerospace hardware is preferred.
- Experience with Digital design (including FPGA design)
- Experience with Analog Design (critical areas such as Analog to Digital Converters, low noise preamp)
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, be very adaptable to change and have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in operating test equipment’s such as oscilloscope, logic/spectrum analyzers.
- Experience in troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.
Must be a US citizen or a US Permanent Residence with ability to pass a Government background investigation.
