Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience, ensuring prompt and attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills; process payments swiftly while providing excellent customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in high-volume or upscale hospitality environments preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise with POS systems such as Aloha POS or TOAST is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipe development, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and cocktail techniques.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Experience with food handling, food safety protocols, and proper serving techniques is essential.
- Background in hospitality or food industry roles that involve serving customers in fast-paced environments.
