PRODUCT CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER, PRO AUDIO
Rockville is looking for a Product Content Marketing Manager, Pro Audio to help grow, improve, and optimize the recently launched Rockville ecommerce website.
This is a senior-level individual contributor role for someone who deeply understands pro audio, lighting, commercial audio, DJ, studio, live sound, installed audio, musical instruments, and related professional gear, and knows how to turn that product knowledge into ecommerce content that drives traffic, improves buyer confidence, removes buying friction, and increases sales.
This is not a basic copywriting role. This is not a general content role. This is not a fashion/apparel ecommerce role. This is not a broad consumer electronics role.
We are looking for someone who has worked in the pro audio, lighting, commercial audio, DJ, studio, live sound, commercial AV, or music gear space, and has experience making product pages, product content, SEO content, buying guides, comparison tools, calculators, selectors, and customer education perform better online.
POSITION SNAPSHOT
Title: Product Content Marketing Manager, Pro Audio
Location: Inwood, NY, directly across the Queens border from Far Rockaway and minutes from the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue A train terminal
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 per year, based on experience

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Product Content Marketing Manager, Pro Audio will help own the quality, structure, usefulness, accuracy, and selling power of product content across the Rockville ecommerce website.
This person will work across product information, technical details, ecommerce content, SEO, customer education, media recommendations, AI tools, customer decision tools, and website presentation to help make thousands of products easier to find, easier to understand, easier to compare, and easier to buy.
The right person understands that a product page is not just a place to list specs. It is a sales tool. It should answer customer questions, remove confusion, explain use cases, show the right media, highlight the right benefits, support SEO, guide customers toward the right decision, and help the product sell.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Help grow and optimize the recently launched Rockville ecommerce website
- Improve product pages across a large catalog of pro audio, lighting, commercial audio, DJ, studio, live sound, installed audio, car audio, marine audio, and related products
- Create and improve product titles, descriptions, feature hierarchy, specifications, benefits, use cases, FAQs, comparison content, setup guidance, and buying support
- Turn technical product information into clear, persuasive, customer-friendly ecommerce content
- Make product pages more complete, accurate, useful, searchable, and conversion-focused
- Identify content gaps that prevent customers from understanding, trusting, or buying a product
- Improve product discovery through stronger SEO content, product titles, metadata, category copy, FAQs, internal content, and search-friendly product information
- Use AI tools and Agentic AI workflows to identify content gaps, generate content frameworks, improve scale, support optimization, and keep product content ahead of the market
- Help create buying guides, product selectors, calculators, comparison tools, compatibility tools, product-matching tools, setup guides, and application-based content
- Recommend the right mix of images, videos, diagrams, charts, tables, comparison modules, FAQs, and setup content to improve buyer confidence
- Use customer questions, support trends, product reviews, search behavior, returns data, and sales feedback to improve product-page clarity and usefulness
- Work closely with R&D, Engineering, Customer Experience, Purchasing, Product, Marketing, Ecommerce, and leadership to gather and organize the information needed to sell products effectively online
- Partner closely with the Senior Shopify Ecommerce Specialist to align product content, product data, site functionality, SEO, user experience, and ecommerce performance
- Support the Director of Marketing in organizing product-content priorities, website growth initiatives, AI-driven workflows, and site improvement projects
- Communicate clearly, move quickly, and keep multiple content and product-page initiatives moving forward
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 5-10 years of relevant product content, ecommerce content, product marketing, product data, ecommerce site content, SEO content, pro audio product content, or related experience
- Has deep working knowledge of pro audio, lighting, commercial audio, DJ equipment, recording/studio gear, live sound, commercial AV, musical instruments, or closely related professional sound products
- Has experience creating, improving, or optimizing ecommerce product pages for complex technical products
- Has experience in a high-scale ecommerce environment, ideally $10M+ in annual revenue or 15,000+ monthly orders
- Has worked with a large product catalog, ideally 500+ SKUs and preferably thousands
- Has experience with technical, non-apparel, non-fashion products
- Understands what makes a product page sell
- Understands SEO, product discovery, buyer education, product-page content, and ecommerce user experience
- Is highly AI-forward and actively uses AI tools in real work
- Understands how AI and Agentic AI can improve product content, SEO, customer guidance, product data, workflows, and ecommerce performance
- Can work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Can lead collaborative working sessions without needing formal direct reports
- Is highly detail-oriented, organized, decisive, vocal, and clear

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 5-10 years of relevant product content, ecommerce content, product marketing, product data, ecommerce site content, SEO content, pro audio product content, or related experience
- Deep product knowledge in pro audio, lighting, commercial audio, DJ equipment, recording/studio gear, live sound, commercial AV, musical instruments, or closely related categories
- Experience working with ecommerce product pages, product content, technical product information, SEO, customer education, or product presentation
- Experience growing, optimizing, relaunching, redesigning, or significantly improving an ecommerce website, product-content experience, product-page system, or major site-content initiative
- Experience in a high-scale ecommerce environment, ideally $10M+ in annual revenue or 15,000+ monthly orders
- Experience working with a large product catalog, ideally 500+ SKUs and preferably thousands
- Experience with technical, non-apparel, non-fashion products
- Strong understanding of product-page content, ecommerce user experience, product discovery, buyer education, and conversion-focused content
- Strong AI tool usage for content, SEO, product data, research, workflow improvement, customer guidance, product-page analysis, or ecommerce optimization
- Strong writing, editing, communication, organization, and product-detail judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Inwood, NY
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience in pro audio, lighting, commercial audio, DJ equipment, recording/studio gear, live sound, commercial AV, music gear, or installed audio ecommerce
- Experience at a manufacturer, distributor, retailer, or ecommerce company in the pro audio, lighting, music gear, DJ, studio, or commercial AV space
- Experience improving product content at scale across hundreds or thousands of SKUs
- Experience with SEO tools, AI content tools, Agentic AI workflows, product-data tools, product-content systems, or ecommerce automation
- Experience creating or improving buying guides, calculators, product selectors, comparison tools, compatibility tools, product-matching tools, setup guides, or product education content
- Experience using customer questions, search behavior, reviews, support tickets, returns data, and sales feedback to improve product content
- Experience supporting website growth initiatives, product-content audits, SEO improvements, category improvements, content migrations, or site-content improvement projects
- Experience working closely with ecommerce, Shopify, SEO, marketing, product, purchasing, engineering, customer experience, or leadership teams
- Ability to commute within approximately 45 minutes of Far Rockaway / Inwood, Long Island

We are looking for someone who understands pro audio products, ecommerce product content, SEO, AI-driven content strategy, customer decision tools, buyer education, and product-page performance.
