A well-established specialty medical practice on Long Island is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join its allergy and asthma care team. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who’s passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life through comprehensive allergy and immunology care in a supportive outpatient environment.
In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with experienced physicians and nurses to provide patient-centered care for individuals with allergies, asthma, and immune-related conditions. Responsibilities include conducting exams, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting labs, prescribing medications, and assisting with in-office procedures such as allergy testing and immunotherapy. You’ll also play a key role in patient education—helping individuals understand their conditions and manage symptoms effectively.
The ideal candidate has strong communication and clinical skills, enjoys a fast-paced but team-oriented setting, and takes pride in building lasting patient relationships. Prior experience in allergy, pulmonary, or internal medicine is helpful but not required.
