Inpatient Pharmacist – Travel Contract
Location: Cartersville, GA 30120
Contract: 10 weeks
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Schedule: Nights | 7 days on / 7 days off | 9:00 PM–7:30 AM

Job Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient pharmacy services in an acute-care hospital setting.
- Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately.
- Perform clinical and pharmacokinetic dosing.
- Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring.
- Prepare IV medications, including IV piggybacks and IV push medications.
- Perform sterile compounding as required.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor medication therapy and provide clinical pharmacy recommendations.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation.
- Float within the facility according to scope of practice and operational needs.
Requirements
- Active RPh/Pharmacist license required.
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience.
- Inpatient/acute-care pharmacy experience preferred.
- Experience with clinical dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and therapeutic drug monitoring.
- Experience with IV preparation, IV piggybacks, IV push medications, and compounding.
- Experience with any pharmacy charting/documentation system.
- BLS preferred.
- Must be comfortable working independently on a night shift.
Schedule & Contract Details
- 7 days on / 7 days off night schedule.
- 9:00 PM–7:30 AM.
- No scheduled call.
- Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice.
- Maximum 7 days RTO per contract.

Pay: $2,910.00 - $3,000.00 per week
