Plan and lead the job site work effort including; coordination of materials, equipment and crew members. Reports daily production results and participate as a working crew member. Skills and knowledge are typically acquired through a High School education or equivalent and at least four (4) years of related work experience. A valid Class A CDL Driver’s License is preferred, Class B license required. Must pass a pre-employment physical. The ability to lift and carry items weighting 25 pounds or more is required. May require basic computer operation skill. Operates a variety of light and heavy construction equipment, i.e. loaders, back holes, graders, dump trucks, asphalt paver, asphalt planer, and roller, etc. Directs supervision of staff.

Work is performed both inside and outside with exposure to varying weather conditions. May be exposed to intermittent noise, dust, dirt, odors, solvents, heights and confined spaces. Use of safety equipment required, to include but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety vest, hard hats, and work boots. Will be required to work overtime.
