Job Purpose / Summary
Serves as the frontline representative of the company by generating new business opportunities through direct homeowner engagement in targeted neighborhoods. Builds awareness of roofing services, educates potential customers on storm damage assessments and repair/replacement options, and schedules qualified appointments for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Canvass designated neighborhoods to identify potential roofing customers.
- Engage stakeholders in professional and friendly conversations to introduce roofing services.
- Educate homeowners on roof inspections, storm damage signs, repair/replacement options, and insurance processes.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
- Distribute marketing materials (flyers, door hangers, brochures) to promote brand awareness.
- Track and record canvassing activity, leads, and appointments using company systems.
- Maintain a positive and professional company image while in the field.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly canvassing goals set by management.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of roofing services and storm damage indicators (training provided).
- Ability to use CRM systems, tablets, or mobile apps for lead tracking.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of sales processes and customer engagement.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or canvassing preferred but not required.
- Training provided; no roofing experience necessary.
Physical & Work Conditions
- Role involves extended periods of canvassing neighborhoods outdoors, including walking, standing, and engaging with homeowners, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Work performed in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind).
- Must be able to distribute and carry marketing materials as needed.
