We are seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeper to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for guests. The Housekeeper will play a critical role in ensuring that guest rooms and public areas meet our hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy all guest rooms and suites according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replace towels, linens, and amenities in guest rooms.
- Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, toiletries, and writing supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Follow a daily schedule of room assignments and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
- Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairways, and restrooms.
- Handle guests' requests and complaints promptly and with a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer-oriented and friendly demeanor.
- Physical stamina and mobility to handle various cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
