Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required, construction industry and/or corporate experience preferred.
- Portfolio or work samples demonstrating instructional design deliverables (e.g., storyboards, scripts, or eLearning deliverables) strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and training technology
- Demonstrated experience developing learning objectives, storyboards, and instructional scripts
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, structured, and engaging learning experiences
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise) with a strong understanding of how designs translate into development
- Experience working with or supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS), including SCORM-based content
- Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract and organize content
- Experience reviewing and guiding development of learning assets to ensure alignment with design intent and quality standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical and instructional writing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment
- Embrace change and quick learner to adopt process and technology enhancements
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time, as needed
