ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and implement installation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of the installation process.
- Read and interpret all floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
- Achieve and maintain a high level of communications with client and team.
- Strong customer advocacy skills; friendly, approachable, communicative, knowledgeable, with a resilient work ethic and high degree of integrity.
- Manage an effective project team to achieve project deliverables.
- Work with customer in creating and executing project work plans, identifying resources required and assigning individual responsibilities. Revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Utilize team members optimally; ensuring that morale remains high and that there is high staff retention.
- Deliver customer engagements successfully on-time with high quality and high customer satisfaction.
- Produce detailed project updates as needed.
- Review quality assurance procedures. Understand customer satisfaction levels. Prepare and take corrective action to address concerns.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including after hours, weekends.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time on a ladder, lift over 70 lbs at times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates.
- Be able to work within a dynamic team of co-workers, consultants, vendors & contractors in a diverse environment.
- High personal standard to deliver a thoughtful, polished and quality work product.
- Ability to choose the correct tool & methodology for a given task and can help other team members determine the same.
- Demonstrate ability to learn from senior team members.
- PC and Network troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve basic to advanced hardware, software and connectivity problems is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $36.00 per hour
