Build a Commercial Construction Company From the Ground Up
I am looking for an experienced commercial construction professional to become the Founding Operating Partner of a brand-new commercial construction company based in Southwest Florida.
This is not a traditional employment opportunity.
This is an opportunity to help build and ultimately own a meaningful piece of a commercial construction business.
The business will launch with an existing operational infrastructure already in place, including office administration, estimating resources, CRM systems, marketing support, accounting support, established relationships throughout the commercial construction industry, and an aggressive growth strategy focused on commercial and government work.
I have successfully built and acquired multiple companies within the commercial signage, lighting, and electrical industries and am now expanding into commercial construction.
I’m looking for the right partner to lead that expansion.
What You’ll Do
As the Operating Partner, you will be responsible for helping build and lead the company, including:
- Managing day-to-day operations
- Estimating and reviewing projects
- Hiring and managing field personnel
- Building subcontractor relationships
- Developing operating procedures
- Managing project managers and superintendents as the company grows
- Working alongside commissioned business development representatives to pursue new opportunities
- Assisting with bidding and preconstruction
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and safely
This is a leadership role—not simply a project management position.
Ideal Background
We’re looking for someone with experience such as:
- Commercial General Contractor
- Senior Project Manager
- Superintendent
- Operations Manager
- Vice President of Construction
- Commercial Estimator
- Former construction business owner
Experience with commercial construction is strongly preferred.
Florida construction experience is highly desirable.

Compensation will be structured around the right individual and may include:
