General Project Controls:
Particular responsibilities may vary from project to project; however, they essentially include
- Project Support in regard to Scope, Schedule and Budget
- Work with Estimating and Project Management Team for Budget Setup
- Cost Reports utilizing Excel.
- Create and maintain project schedules utilizing Primavera.
- Assist Project Managers with forecasting projects in JDE Accounting System
- Assist in data entry.
- Participate in preparation for financial audits.
- Assist Project Management in developing / reviewing cost and schedule corrective action and recovery plans, and making sure needed actions / plans are implemented.
- Raise flags, take recovery actions and follow up when adverse schedule trends are identified.
- Monitor Subcontractors progress relative to the schedule and report results to Project Manager.
- Review, upgrade as necessary, and approve the Subcontractors schedule control plan.
- Ensure the Subcontractors schedule and cost forecast are in alignment.
- Work with Project Management Team in support of project invoicing including monthly Schedule of Values
- Change Order Management
- Cash Flow and Revenue Forecasting
- Misc Project Management tasks as required
What You Will Need:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.)
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
- Scheduling Experience
Experience Preference:
- Minimum of 5 years of project controls experience.
- Primavera Scheduling Experience.
- Experience working in an environment that involves multiple projects.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Engineering, Business or related field preferred
