Job Overview
We are hiring a dependable and collaborative Day Shift Janitorial Employee to join our warehouse sanitation team. You will perform general cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment, working with a dedicated crew from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and committed to delivering quality work in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum LVT and concrete floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Collect and dispose of trash, replacing liners and transporting waste to designated areas.
- Dust and clean surfaces, including shelves, railings, and equipment.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums).
- Notify supervisors of maintenance or safety issues.
- Work closely with team members to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company cleaning procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices.
- Understanding of safe chemical and equipment use (training provided).
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA regulations).
- Skills:
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.
- Efficient time management to meet shift deadlines.
- Abilities:

Requirements
- Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (e.g., valid SSN, work permit). Verification required per federal law.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

- Reliability: Consistent attendance and dedication to completing tasks.
- Experience: Janitorial or warehouse cleaning experience preferred but not required; training provided.
- Language: English proficiency preferred.
