Wisconsin Community Veterinary Center (WCVC) is hiring Veterinary Assistants across multiple departments, including surgery/recovery, clinic care, and community medicine. We are also welcoming entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in veterinary medicine.
This is a physically active, fast-paced role best suited for individuals who enjoy staying busy and working as part of a mission-focused team.
Duties may include:
- Monitoring post-operative patients and ensuring safe recoveries
- Administering vaccines, subcutaneous fluids, and injections
- Assisting with exams, treatments, and nursing care
- Preparing surgical packs, laundry, cleaning, and general clinic support
- Communicating with clients and supporting daily clinic flow
Schedule:
- (4-day work week, set schedule when possible)
Qualifications:
- Veterinary or animal care experience preferred (not required for entry-level)
- Strong work ethic, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
