Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious HAZMAT Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting hazardous materials across designated routes, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with your attention to safety and precision, will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to safe and efficient deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely operate bob tail trucks and tractor-trailers equipped for hazardous materials, including tankers, and other specialized equipment.
- Comply fully with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations during all phases of transport.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or safety concerns during transit.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on hazardous materials transportation.
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as tankers
- Demonstrated ability to handle logistics cargo handling tasks including load & unload operations safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of hazard classification procedures for dangerous goods and proper documentation requirements.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements specific to hazardous materials and Tanker
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazard handling protocols, and safety procedures related to truck driving.
