About the Role
Allchemy is the non-toxic, natural pharmacy nestled in the Mado hamlet of Serenbe, in Chattahoochee Hills. (Please note: Allchemy is not a compounding pharmacy, nor does it fill conventional medicine prescriptions.)
The Shop Guide & Customer Experience Associate role is a Part Time position offering up to 29 hours per week.
As we continue to grow the Allchemy team, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about clean living, genuinely enjoys helping people, takes pride in upkeeping beautiful and welcoming spaces, and understands that the little details add up to something greater.
Allchemy is a place of discovery and a hub of sharing health information. As a Shop Guide, you'll serve as a host, caretaker, and steward of the store experience. You'll help customers feel comfortable, supported, and informed, while ensuring the shop remains clean, organized, and inviting.
Our ideal candidate is observant, self-directed, warm, reliable, and comfortable balancing customer service with the quiet, ongoing work of maintaining a thoughtful retail environment.
We consider knowledge of clean products to be a nice-to-have, but not a requirement, as we offer thorough on-site training in our products. What is a requirement is an innate interest in the power that non-toxic products have to impact our health in a positive way.

What You'll Do
Create a Welcoming Customer Experience
- Introduce customers to the store and its offerings when appropriate.
- Answer questions clearly and honestly – recognizing and admitting when a question exceeds your scope of knowledge and connecting the customer with a consultant as-needed.
- Foster an environment that feels relaxed, welcoming, and authentic rather than transactional.
Care for the Store Environment
- Open and prepare the store each day with the “customer’s eyes”, ensuring everything is clean, functional, and inviting.
- Help ensure both the sales floor and back-of-house areas remain tidy and organized.
Support Daily Store Operations
- Open and close the store following established procedures.
- Operate and maintain the point-of-sale system and payment devices.
- Report maintenance issues, facility concerns, or operational needs promptly, thoroughly, and accurately.

Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes and merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, sweep, vacuum, dust, and perform routine housekeeping tasks.
- Comfort using tablets, point-of-sale systems, and basic digital tools.
- Innate interest in clean, non-toxic living.
