Director of Social Work
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Social Work to join our team at Mountainview Behavioral Hospital in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. As a leader in the social work department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, overseeing social work services, and contributing to the overall mission of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide social work services to patients and their families, including assessment, counseling, and support
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and services
Supervise and mentor social work staff to promote professional development and excellence
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and healthcare providers to enhance referral and discharge planning
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
Masters in Social Work required
Licensure as a Licensed Social Worker required. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
Experience in Inpatient Psychiatry required
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
