Pharmacy Shipping Coordinator - (Based in or Near Orlando, FL)
The Pharmacy Shipping Coordinator ensures accurate and timely preparation, packaging, and shipment of medications. This role coordinates with all necessary parties to guarantee prompt delivery while adhering to pharmacy regulations, shipping guidelines, and quality standards. This role safeguards patient safety and satisfaction by maintaining compliance and monitoring excursion data during packaging and shipping.
Responsibilities

Manage shipping software systems and generate shipping labels and tracking numbers

Create pre-packaged supply items

Pack medication appropriately and affix shipping label after the order has been verified by a pharmacist

Verify all documents and demographics are accurate and correspond to one another

Verify all medications have been shipped at end of day and the system is clear of any pending shipments

Order of supplies necessary for shipping department

Maintain the shipping station

All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
This position in NOT a remote position and will require employee to be ONSITE.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Demonstrates a friendly, professional demeanor and strong written and verbal communication skills resulting in positive interactions with pharmacy team and patients

Demonstrated decision making skills handling customer issues

Ability to pay attention to detail when handling shipments

Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting

Potential pay for this position ranges from $17.85 - $25.48 based on experience and skills.
