Position Summary
Building Strength Recovery (BSR) is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and oversight of behavioral health services. The LCSW Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, trauma-informed care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards.
This position provides clinical supervision to therapists and social work staff, supports interdisciplinary collaboration, reviews clinical documentation, and promotes best practices in substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to CSWs, associate clinicians, and other clinical staff in accordance with Kentucky licensure requirements.
- Ensure services are delivered using trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based approaches.
- Review assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other clinical documentation for quality and compliance.
- Monitor compliance with ASAM Criteria, 908 KAR regulations, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide clinical consultation.
- Assist with complex case reviews, crisis intervention, and clinical decision-making.
- Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and continuing education.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and utilization review activities.
- Assist with program development, policy implementation, and accreditation readiness.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
- Current Kentucky Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in good standing.
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Experience providing clinical supervision.
- Knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred
- Five or more years of behavioral health or substance use treatment experience.
- Experience in PHP, IOP, outpatient, or residential treatment settings.
- Experience with CARF or Joint Commission accreditation.
- ASAM Criteria training or certification.
- CPR/First Aid certification.

Pay: $71,049.77 - $85,565.31 per year
