USD 232 is hiring a Behavior Specialist / Board Certified Behavior Analyst to support students, staff, and school teams across our district. This position works closely with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to develop meaningful supports that help students build skills, increase independence, and experience success at school.
As part of the USD 232 Special Services team, this position will provide coaching, consultation, and direct support while collaborating with an outstanding team of educators and professionals. Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited college/university in Special Education, Behavioral Sciences or another related field.
- Experience working with students with behavioral challenges.
- Ability to maintain documentation of all behavioral programming and planning for students, staff and families involving students receiving behavioral support services.
- An ability to provide ongoing staff development/mentoring for staff around positive behavioral supports and management.
- BCBA Certification is preferred, but candidates working toward their BCBA are also encouraged to apply.
Starting Salary: Commensurate with experience

Requirements: All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it was more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
