Duties
- Support senior stylists with hair styling, coloring, and hair extension applications to ensure seamless client experiences
- Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitation standards, including tools, stations, and work areas
- Assist with client consultations by communicating effectively about services and products
- Manage appointment schedules using salon software such as SQUARE to optimize client flow.
Qualifications
- Experience working in the beauty industry or a strong interest in pursuing a cosmetology or barbering career
- Knowledge of salon software platforms like SQUARE for appointment management
- Familiarity with hair care, hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair styling techniques
- Basic understanding of sanitation practices and store management procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective client communication and team collaboration
- Ability to perform hair threading, makeup application, and nail care services is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
