Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and surgical center staff in delivering exceptional patient care in our Ambulatory Surgical Center. Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development
- Oversee patient care delivery ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and Quad A standards
- Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration across all departments
- Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, inventory management, and workflow to maintain efficient operations
- Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness using EMR
- Lead quality improvement initiatives focusing on infection control, acute pain management, and other specialized areas
- Facilitate patient assessments, discharge planning, and case management processes to support comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license with current registration; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred
- Extensive experience in critical care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; experience in emergency medicine or hospital medicine highly desirable
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience managing nursing teams in complex healthcare environments
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; familiarity with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding and medical documentation standards
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology; ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in acute care settings while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality of care

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
